Life can be really harsh sometimes, in more ways than can be counted. You wouldn’t be here now reading these words if all was right in your world. And there aren’t always good answers for why terrible things happen or why people hurt you. Sometimes they are mistakes you saw coming or when you believed in something or someone that disappointed you.
There’s grief – from losing a loved one, a friendship, a pet, a job, or grief from things just not going as you had hoped or planned. Or maybe it’s trying to figure out where you’re headed in life, discovering what matters to you, instead of listening to all the “shoulds” coming at you from every direction. It can be overwhelming. And all the while you’re feeling train-wrecked, still trying to live life... and figure out how to feel better... this life can be a really rough ride sometimes.
But there is support and us listening. What you won’t hear is “everything happens for a reason....” because the reality is that some things in life are just painful and difficult to comprehend.
